Dear Parishioners & Friends of St. Francis of Assisi Parish,
May the peace and blessings of the Lord be upon you! Today, as we stand at the threshold of an extraordinary journey, I am reminded of the message that St. Francis of Assisi received from the Lord: "Rebuild My Church." Those words, spoken centuries ago, continue to resonate within the core of our parish community—the St. Francis of Assisi Parish.
A Testament of Faith
Thank you to all who have donated to the One by One capital campaign. This combined campaign for the parish and school concluded on 6/30/23. Our journey has already shown the power of faith and unity. Together, we at St Francis of Assisi have raised $1.2 million of our $2.5 million parish goal. Each contribution, each commitment, is a testament to the enduring love and unwavering faith that our community embodies.
Currently, Roncalli Catholics Schools have raised over $13 million towards their goal of $20 million. If you are interested in helping further with the school fundraising effort contact, please call John Stelzer at (920) 682-8801.
A Vision of Renewal - “Rebuild My Church” Parish Capital Campaign
As your pastor, I am both humbled and excited to share with you a vision that echoes the call to rebuild, renew, and revitalize. Our St. Francis of Assisi Parish campaign embarks on two transformative building projects and discipleship efforts:
Discipleship Efforts: All of our efforts concentrate on continually moving and transforming all souls within our parish boundaries to come closer to Jesus Christ. Our ministry continues to expand, including an expansion in our efforts to serve the unmet needs of the local Hispanic community.
Renovating the Waldo Site Discipleship Space: In the spirit of St. Francis, who devoted himself to a life of deep spiritual growth, we are called to renew our discipleship space. Let it become a sanctuary where souls can flourish in faith, learning, and a profound connection with Jesus Christ. This involves the renovation of the Emmaus House (former Life Teen House) and renovation of the former Waldo rectory.
Building a New Gathering Center and Office Space at the Grand Site: The needs of our parish community call us to create functional, cost-effective spaces—a gathering place where we can be one family in fellowship, celebration, and an office space to better serve the needs of our community. (Click here to view an aerial animated view of the proposed new building.)
Answering the Call
Embrace the Vision of Renewal: Just as St. Francis embraced the call to rebuild, we too are called to nurture and renew our parish community.
Multiply the Impact: Your participation, whether through prayer, presence, or financial support magnifies the impact of our commitment.
Continuing the Legacy: By investing in these spaces, we honor the legacy of faith handed down to us by those who came before us and ensure that the light of St. Francis' teachings will guide future generations.

Parish Campaign Goal & Timeline
The pledges and gifts from the previous One by One Campaign benefit the parish in the amount of
$1.2 million. Our total parish project is $2.5 million. This new “Rebuild My Church” Parish Campaign will continue until our parish goal has been reached.
Walking in Faith Together
As we set forth on this journey, let us carry the spirit of St. Francis within us—the spirit of renewal, compassion, and service. Let us rebuild not just structures, but hearts, and souls. With gratitude for your faith and devotion, let us walk hand in hand on this path of transformation. May the peace of St. Francis of Assisi guide us, and may the blessings of the Lord be our companions.
In faith and renewal,
Fr. Douglas LeCaptain, Pastor
