I am on a journey of seeking the best version of myself. That journey includes reflecting on past decisions that I regret. I would like to walk this journey with others not just as a self help excursion but also as a spiritual exercise. Unhealthy attachments are a part of all of our lives and with some of us that unhealthy attachment is a fully acknowledged addiction. Regardless of what we call it, we are wonderful and beautiful children of God who are capable of better decisions in the future. There is hope and healing in Jesus Christ. I will be coordinating a book study at Lighthouse Recovery, 721 Park St. Manitowoc, every Monday evening starting on 12/5/2022 beginning at 5:30 pm until 7. We will read and discuss Scott Weeman’s book, “The Twelve Steps and the Sacraments, A Catholic Journey through Recovery.” Whether we struggle with food, alcohol, drugs, chastity, digital screen time, control, self harm, being busy, or anything else with keeps us from our best self, you are welcome to join. This is an open meeting. Contact Dcn. Mark LeGreve with Questions and if you would like the text and workbook in advance. [email protected] cell 920-860-0174 (call or text).
